John Knox Presbyterian Church is part of the Christian denomination known as the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).      (see www.pcusa.org)

We believe in God who created the universe, and who created each of us to live in a relationship of love with God and with others.  

We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the personification of God's love among us. 

We believe in the Holy Spirit, God's presence with us here and now.

Though we are broken people in our relationships with God and each other, Jesus repairs and restores our relationship with God through his life, his death, and God's raising him from death.  This is what makes the story of Jesus "gospel", or good news.  We believe that the Holy Spirit helps us to be followers of the way of Jesus, welcoming the love of God in our lives, and sharing that love with others.  

As a congregation, we live out this good news through our mission statement:
