Deacon's Ministry Teams


Fellowship Team:
Provide opportunities for fun and fellowship that foster development and deepening of friendships.

This ministry builds Christian relationships in our congregation. We provide opportunities such as our church picnic for our church family to gather together.

Congregational Care Team:
Provide care and support for members, especially during times of transition or crisis.

Care for our congregation includes attending to the needs of those unable to attend worship, including sending greeting cards and sermon tapes, college student care packages, nursing home visitations, and baptismal banners. A new ministry is follow-up with those who are suddenly absent from worship for several weeks.

Community Service Team:
We act for JKPC as the hands of Christ reaching out to our own community and beyond. Our assistance provides basic needs such as food through TEAM and our Garden of Grace, clothing, school supplies, emergency gasoline assistance, and even blood through our blood drives. We hope to help even more families in the year ahead with our Christmas Adopt-a-Family program.
